Technical
Requirements: Computers, internet, LCD screen, projector, worksheet
Procedure:
1. Teacher will start the class by recapping on the novel How I Met Myself that have been taught to the students on the previous class.
2. Teacher
will divide the students into pairs. Each pair will receive a chapter from the novel randomly through drawing lot (Chapter 1 until chapter 18).
3. Teacher
will show an example of a storyboard based on the Chapter 1 of the novel.
4. Each pair
later on need to create a storyboard to show the situation based on the chapter
they received by using the website www.storyboardthat.com.
The storyboard must contain bubble speeches to show interaction among the
characters by using present tense verb.
5. Teacher
will give each student a worksheet which need to be filled based on the
storyboard presentations from every pair.
6. Teacher
will ask each pair to present their storyboard in 2 minutes while the rest of
the students will try to identify on which chapter that the storyboard represents of.
7. Based on every pair’s
presentation, every student need to fill the worksheet by summarizing on the situation
happened in every chapter.
8. At the end of the lesson, teacher will collect the worksheets from the students.
